During his illustrious career of over three decades with the 'Energy of India', IndianOil, Dr. Mohapatra had a tenure spanning more than 5 years and two months as Director (HR), during which he led multiple endeavours that significantly added transformative value to the Indian energy sector. Dr. Mohapatra's vision to catalyse socioeconomic progress by enhancing energy access left global imprints when he led IndianOil's Mauritius operations with remarkable success for more than three years. In very recent past, under his leadership as Chairman, Lanka IOC had created ripples in the energy landscape of island nation Srilanka registering remarkable market share and profitability growth.

A firm votary of inclusivity and diversity, Dr. Mohapatra's empathetic leadership, had ushered in a vibrant culture focused towards enhanced organisational growth and productivity while valuing individual aspirations. His resolve to transform IndianOil into a futuristic learning organisation had reaped rich dividends through endeavours he conceived, like the organisational digital platform of Swadhyaya, the largest self-learning platform among Indian Corporate World today. Dr. Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra's humane side of leadership came to the forefront during the pandemic as he led IndianOil and the industry to rise above challenges and deliver excellence while serving the energy needs of 1.4 billion Indians. Dr. Mohapatra went beyond the call of duty to extend to support the company's contractual workforce, channel partners, extended family of stakeholders and other marginalised groups. Acknowledging his exemplary leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Public Relations Society of India bestowed upon him the 'Pride of India' award.

His relentless focus on harnessing the magical power of sports to usher in sustained social changes helped IndianOil emerge as one of the country's leading curators of sporting talent. His vision had also inspired sporting endeavours that seek to steer forward gender-equity goals. Under his guidance, IndianOil became first corporate to support India's International Women's Hockey players with a full strength Hockey team. Under his leadership, IndianOil also collaborated with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports to extend comprehensive support to young girl athletes under the project "IndianOil Shakti."

Leading beyond Boardroom, Dr. Mohapatra's belief in compassionate leadership also yielded remarkable results when as the Chairman of CII Odisha State Council in 2019-20, he undertook several endeavours to facilitate the state's progress. Dr. Mohapatra has also been a prominent Member of the Asia Pacific Resource Centre of Global Compact Network India (GCNI) -a non-profit society which functions as the Indian Local Network of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), New York. He has been a celebrated invitee at various forums of The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)-a professional human resources membership association headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia.

Sheikh Faleigh bin Sheikh Mansor is the guy who advocated the mindset in the early 90s that young people could be entrepreneurs and Leaders in Malaysia. He is certified in the Malaysia Book of Records as the Youngest Entrepreneur in Malaysia for establishing his first company, a conference producer and training company, at the age of 18 years in 1994 and made his first million in 1996 when he was only 20 years old. Faleigh has been featured in and interviewed by numerous TV talk shows, radio interviews and most business publications for being the youngest entrepreneur in Malaysia and for his ventures in other niche businesses.

Being a media-friendly young entrepreneur personality, he knows he can convey his aspiration through his public features in the media. He believes that one day, the wave of a new mindset will soon spark many other youths to start a business or have an entrepreneurial mindset and be a corporate leader. In early 2000, the spark became more prominent when more young people opened up companies in Malaysia.

Faleigh organised various trend-setting conferences and events, such as the 35th IFTDO World Conference & Exhibition in 2006, and was the initiator and creator of the Putrajaya Hot Air Balloon Fiesta in 2009, which became one of the most awaited annual events in the Tourism Malaysia Event Calendar to date. One of his last conferences was The Futurist Forum 2008, having the globally famous futurist John Naisbitt and Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad and initiated Education Malaysia initiatives by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia.

Faleigh left the business and corporate world in 2010 and established The Futurist Foundation. An NGO established in the Law Division (BHEU) of the Prime Minister’s Department of Malaysia as a private Trust Fund to focus on a ‘Futurology’ study on Enhancing and Implementing the Entrepreneurial Synergy & Business Ecosystem”. One of the core focuses of the foundation is Creative Content and initiated a Futurist and Malaysia Pavilion at Dubai Game Expo 2010 featuring Bumiputera Creative Content companies to the world. Later encouraged the Malaysian government to focus on the Game Industry by bringing more companies to international expos such as Game Developer’s Conference in the US and Tokyo Game Show in Japan.

Faleigh created and established an Entrepreneurial Magazine for the Nusantara Entrepreneurs and a Gamification incubator and accelerator that produced award-winning games such as ‘Sara is Missing’; and ‘ChemCaper’, an educational game co-developed with an Indonesian game company invested by a media monghul.

Faleigh now spends a lot of his time implementing the foundation’s vision and mission while mentoring and nurturing young entrepreneurs to achieve their goals in life. At times, a sought-after speaker on Entrepreneurship at Entrepreneurial and Business conferences in Malaysia and Indonesia.

Dr. Helmy Sallam is the Chairman / General Manager of TEAM. He is a professor of Accounting at the Faculty of Commerce, Cairo University. Dr. Sallam got his Ph.D. in accounting information systems from Leningrad University in 1973. Dr. Sallam played an active and important role in upgrading and developing the management training process in the Arab World and owns a long list of achievements in this area. Managed a number of privatization projects funded by the European Union and USAID. Conducted a wide spectrum of workshops for Arab governmental, public and private enterprises concerning investment, financial and strategic analysis to increase productivity. On the academic level, Dr. Sallam has published a long list of reference material and papers on Egyptian Unified Accounting system, financial analysis and information systems in Commercial Banks. In addition, he was an advisor for the Deputy Prime Minister of Egypt for Financial & Economic Affairs.

Dr. Helmi heads the Arab Center for Management Development and runs its vast training programs which extend over the Arab World and includes seminars and workshops held in East Asia, Europe and USA. He invariably teaches and holds sessions in these seminars and contributes to the development of manuals and reference material. Participated as a project manager in a project for management development for productivity for Egyptian private & public sector companies. Conducted a wide spectrum of workshops for Egyptian governmental, Public & private enterprises, concerning investment, financial and strategic analysis to increase productivity. Dr. Sallam planned and organized TEAM’s annual training conferences for the last 10 years. He was involved in the selection of the theme, speakers, venue and the overall management of the conferences. 

In TEAM, Dr. Helmi has introduced graduate studies in collaboration with City University of London and Suffolk University of Boston, Mass, USA, in addition to the Euro Arab Management School in Granada, Spain. Dr. Sallam participated in a number of international conferences and training programs such as the Salzburg training program held in Austria to present the problems of strategic planning and Arab managers. Currently, he is introducing the e-learning concept in our training activity. 

Dr. Sallam is a member of the Executive Board of the International Federation of Training and Development Organizations (IFTDO), he is a full member representative on the IFTDO council since 1993. Dr. Sallam is the head of the Conference Coordination Committee (CCC) of the IFTDO since 1993 responsible for supervising all the international & regional IFTDO conferences conducted all over the World. In 1994 and 2005, he was elected as president - Elect and in 1995 he was elected as the president of the IFTDO. During this period he was the Chairman of the 25th IFTDO World Conference & Exhibition which was held in Cairo, Egypt, under the auspices of His Excellency, the Egyptian Minister of Information. In addition, Dr. Helmi is a member of the Executive Board of ARTDO (Asian Regional & Development Organization).

Mrs. Janet Kofoworola Jolaoso is a Learning, Training and Development Global Leader, and an entrepreneur of note, with a sound background and passionate background in the field of Science. She is an Organisation Leader, shrewd Administrator and Mindset Changer. Janet’s success story in the training community of practice space in the last 30 years has earned her a deserved recognition and accolades beyond the continent of Africa, as a pragmatic leader and silent achiever.

She was appointed to the Board of IFTDO in 2019 and her unprecedented contributions subsequently at the global level earned her an intercontinental appointment as the Chairman of the Committee on Women Empowerment (CWE) with oversight responsibility for both Africa and Asia.

Under her pragmatic leadership, the Committee was able to empower women and girl adults to an unimaginable extent as a demonstration of commitment to any project she is involved in. One success begets another after all, again, her series of landmark accomplishments at the Committee level of IFTDO organ prompted the Global Training Board to appoint her as the pioneer Chairman, the Board of Trustees, IFTDO-Africa, first-ever African to occupy such an exalted position in over 4 decades existence of the international body regulating the practice of training and development.

Janet is the immediate past President of the Nigerian Institute of Training and Development. Her tenure recorded a turnaround and repositioning that `rebirthed the over three decades Institute to attain its current modern professional institute respected in the comity of professional bodies in Nigeria and beyond status through her eight-point agenda.

Prior to the foregoing, Janet (as she is fondly called) had meteoric career accomplishments for close to four decades. She started her fulfilled career at Merck Farmex. Due to hard work, commitment and a passion for duty, she rose from the position of a Microbiologist/In-process Control Officer to Laboratory Manager between 1984 to 1990 under the supervision of Dr. Erika Falk Oshiga

At Glaxo Nigeria PLC she was the Laboratory Manager and subsequently promoted to the Head of Productivity and Planning Department and later, Head of Training Department.

After a meritorious and successful career, she finally, went on early retirement as Head of the Human Resources department in 2003 on her personal volition. She thereafter, joined a South African Business Improvement Company – O.I.M International as a consultant and later became the Nigerian Representative.

She is happily married and the union is blessed with children and grandchildren.

Harris Neeliah currently heads the Research and Projects Division at the Human Resource Development Council, Mauritius. He was previously a Research Coordinator at the Mauritius Research and Innovation Council. He has consulted on applied development economics and human capital development projects for both local and international clients. Harris holds a PhD in Applied Economics and a Masters degree in Agricultural Development Economics, both from the University of Reading, UK. Ongoing professional development revolves around innovation, innovation management, data analytics and strategy. He has also extensively lectured both in the UK and Mauritius, principally in applied economics, quantitative techniques and research methods. His research and project interests cover economic development, human capital and skills development, strategy and innovation.

Dr. Pius is a lead corporate trainer, and senior academic, committed to enhancing education standards as an accredited external examiner with the education academic and a champion of student engagement while promoting the role of higher education in the development of society and its future. Tayo is a seasoned HR consultant with over 40 years of experience. Over the years, he has implemented projects for some of the foremost global organizations. He led Diversity and Inclusiveness and Cultural Integration projects for a multinational oil and gas corporation. For over 20years, his team at MacTay Consulting has been working with international partners to design and implement learning solutions across Africa and the Middle East for another Fortune 100 oil and gas corporation. He has also led projects in Strategy and Performance Management for a number of multinational corporations.

Tayo was for several years the Regional Partner (Africa) for TACKTMI, a consulting company with offices in about 40 countries. Tayo is also a partner with Avvartes, a multinational HR Consulting company. In his capacity as CEO of MacTay Group, Tayo oversees various BPO and outsourcing operations across West Africa, involving thousands of employees.

Tayo was a lecturer in Human Resource Management at the Yaba College of Technology, the foremost college of technology in Nigeria. He was on the board of a mortgage bank and served as the chair of the HR Committee of the board. He was the Chair of the Executive Board of the International Federation of Training and Development Organizations (IFTDO). He was the president and chairman of council of the Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (NITAD). He is a Fellow and a past member of Council of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM). Tayo was also a member of the Board of Fellows at CIPM. Tayo is the author of a book, titled Managing Performance for Results.

Tayo is passionate about people, and he is involved in a number of philanthropic projects. He set up a non-profit foundation that provides scholarships for indigent children. He has also been involved in training, free of charge, unemployed graduates in Employability Skills.

Mr. Ayush Gupta, Director (HR), GAIL (India) Ltd is a 1992 batch Electrical Engineer from IIT Roorkee, MBA in Operations Management & P G Diploma in Human Resources Management. He has over 31 years of varied and rich experience in the field of Human Resource Management, Projects, Operations and Maintenance in Oil & Gas Sector and Process Industry.

Mr. Gupta is working with GAIL since last 25 years. He is among the youngest Directors to be on the Board of GAIL India Ltd. He is a strong proponent & practitioner of sustainable business practices and ensuing highest standards of safety in plant & pipeline operations. He has taken several initiatives to promote gender equality & women empowerment.

During his tenure at GAIL Training Institute, Mr. Ayush Gupta had been instrumental in introducing various training initiatives, such as Orientation Programs for Executive Trainees, Mentoring Journey – Saarthi (a unique approach towards development of young talent), e-Learning Courses, etc.

He is a recipient of the prestigious Chevening Rolls Royce Science, Innovation, Policy and Leadership Fellowship from UK Government in 2013, Winner of the National Corrosion Awareness Award 2004 and Emerging HRD Thinkers Award in 2011.
